Your New Role
We are currently supporting a well-established public sector organisation in Sheffield to recruit a temporary People Administrator to join their HR/ Recruitment Team.
This is a fast-paced, administrative role where you will play a key part in delivering an efficient and accurate recruitment support service. Working within a collaborative HR function, you’ll provide essential transactional and coordination support across the end-to-end hiring process.
Key Responsibilities
9. Coordinate recruitment activity, ensuring smooth and efficient processes
10. Maintain and update recruitment records
11. Support the administration of recruitment and onboarding, including documentation andpliance checks
12. Process payroll-related changes and liaise with payroll colleagues to ensure accuracy
13. Input and manage data across HR systems, ensuring high levels of accuracy
14. Collate and produce reports and statistics for management information
15. Carry out data quality checks and ensure information is up to standard
16. Handle recruitment-related queries and provide excellent customer support
17. Organise and support recruitment events where required
18. Assist with right to work checks and pre-employment screening, including DBS processes
19. Contribute to continuous improvement within the team
What You'll Need to Succeed
20. Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within HR or recruitment
21. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
22. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
23. Confident IT user, including Microsoft Office
24. Experience working in a customer-focused environment
25. Ability to work collaboratively within a team
26. Goodmunication skills and a professional approach
What You Need to Know
27. This is a temporary role for 2–3 months
28. Based in Sheffield City Centre with 1 day working from home
29. You will be required to successfully pass a DBS check (processed by the organisation)
