Central Employment is working with a national organisation highly regarded for their ability to provide high quality care, support, and housing to vulnerable groups across the UK. We are partnering with this client as they take on a large contract from the UK Government for a period of 6 months. Due to the length of the contract, this is a temporary position with potential for extension.
About the Role: Join the dynamic team supporting individuals and families under a Central Government contract. We are recruiting Welfare Officers to ensure exceptional care and safeguarding for vulnerable families. The role requires cultural sensitivity, empathy, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide practical and emotional support to service users, addressing safeguarding and welfare concerns.
* Monitor the wellbeing and support needs of service users, ensuring accurate record-keeping for audits.
* Maintain professional boundaries and resilience to meet diverse needs effectively.
Role Criteria:
* Experience working with vulnerable and/or diverse client groups.
* Understanding of safeguarding principles.
* Experience handling mental health and/or challenging behaviour cases.
* Excellent communication skills with colleagues, authorities, and service users.
* Supportive, trustworthy, approachable, and empathetic traits.
* Full UK driving license.
* DBS check conducted prior to start.
Location: Beckingham Camp, Beckingham, Lincolnshire, LN5 0RL
Pay Rate: £15.58 per hour
Work Hours: Monday to Sunday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, 5 days a week
