We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Manager with a love of food, people and someone who has great drive and ambition. Someone who can inspire, motivate and who strives to develop and progress their team and themselves whilst delivering an amazing dining experience for all our guests.
The Role:
To run, manage, lead and grow a high-volume kitchen, priding itself on our fresh food philosophy, pushing boundaries in creativity and delivery. You will be integral to the success of the business by ensuring the highest level of standards, service and quality in line with all company policies. You will be forward thinking and innovative in your approach to sales growth, improving profitability and the guests overall experience.
We're looking for someone who:
* Are or have been a Kitchen Manager / Head Chef / Senior Sous / AKM in a restaurant, Gastro Pub or hotel known for its great food, style and service
* Are a true people person with the ability to help challenge and grow a team
* Can demonstrate exceptional organisational, planning, and prioritising skills
* Coaches and develops, leads the back of house team to be the best they can be
* Able to stay calm and lead their team to success in a high paced service
* Has the desire to develop their own skills
* Have excellent back of house knowledge including all financials and cost control
* Must have a strong understanding of all dietary and legislative requirements
We are looking for someone who can…
* Support the General Manager in the recruitment, induction and on boarding of any new Kitchen team members
* Support the General Manager with pushing the team and the business forward
* Demonstrate leadership with a hands-on approach and effective communication, engaging and motivating your team through pre-shift briefs
* Manage stock control and food margins
* Manage EHO and Health and Safety audits to a high standard
* Deliver to spec and brand standards
* Drive individual high performance through development and regular 1 to 1's
* Have an eye for detail and thrive in a high volume fast paced environment
* Show passion for the brand, visible when ensuring your team are knowledgeable and confident
