Join Our Team as a Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer!
Location: West Midlands - covering Birmingham, Shropshire, Bristol & Manchester. Enjoy the flexibility of remote working, with occasional travel to the office required.
Hours: 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
Your Role and Responsibilities
As a Mobile Electrical Maintenance Engineer with our Kier Places team, you will play a vital role in delivering top-notch planned and reactive maintenance services across various office sites. Your daily tasks will include:
* Conducting PPM tasks such as water hygiene checks and emergency lighting across Kier-occupied offices.
* Performing reactive maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general repairs.
* Supervising contracted works while liaising with clients and subcontractors.
* Utilizing a tablet to manage PPM and reactive works efficiently.
* Carrying out building inspections and updating site logbooks.
What We’re Looking For
This role is perfect for you if you meet the following criteria:
* You possess a full clean driving license (a van will be provided).
* You have experience delivering mobile maintenance in a commercial environment.
* You excel in communication skills.
* You hold a Level 3 Electrical trade qualification (such as NVQ/City & Guilds 2360, 2330, 2356, 2357, AM1/AM2, or equivalent).
* You have your 18th Edition Wiring Regulations certificate (BS7671:2018 / Level 3 C&G 2382).
Desirable Qualifications: While not mandatory, it would be great if you also have:
* Initial Verification of Electrical Installations (Level 3 C&G or equivalent).
* Periodic Inspection, Testing and Certification of Electrical Installations (Level 3 C&G or equivalent).
* Combined Testing and Inspection of Electrical Installations (Level 3 C&G or equivalent).
