A nationally recognised, award-winning law firm is seeking a Solicitor to join their Child Abuse department. The successful candidate will work closely with the Directors, managing cases from start to finish and contributing to the firm’s mission of achieving justice for survivors of child sexual exploitation (CSE), grooming gangs, and other child abuse matters.
This is a fee-earning role suitable for newly qualified to senior solicitors, offering flexibility including remote working, while ensuring regular in-person collaboration with the team and clients.
Location: Yorkshire / North East - Flexible/Remote (with some office presence required)

Key Responsibilities
* Manage a personal caseload of child abuse cases, including CSE, grooming gangs, and other related matters, from inception to conclusion.
* Conduct thorough case reviews, analyse documentation, and provide clear legal advice.
* Attend client meetings, providing supportive and empathetic guidance throughout the legal process.
* Maintain accurate case records in compliance with professional standards and firm procedures.
* Work collaboratively with experts, external agencies, and other professionals to strengthen cases.
* Attend and document meetings, ensuring all key points are captured and followed up.
* Ensure compliance with confidentiality, professional conduct, and mandatory training requirements.
* Manage case-related finances responsibly, adhering to firm procedures.
Requirements
* Qualified Solicitor with experience in child abuse law or a demonstrable interest in this area.
* Experience handling CSE, grooming gangs, or related civil cases preferred, but all levels of PQE considered.
* Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detail, particularly when reviewing medical records and legal documentation.
