About the apprenticeship
Duties
We're recruiting for multiple roles ideal for candidates who already hold a BTEC Level 3 in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and are ready to take the next step in their career. This is an exciting opportunity to apply your knowledge in a real engineering environment while completing a two‑year Higher National Certificate (HNC). You’ll spend one day a week at NDGTA—right across from our Cwmbran site—and the rest of your time gaining hands‑on experience alongside industry professionals.
Throughout the programme, you'll rotate through different departments, giving you a broad understanding of how we design and deliver world‑class aerospace products. Whether you're supporting manufacturing engineering, contributing to industrialisation, enhancing final assembly processes, or working with manufacturing systems and 3D data, you'll play a key role in live projects while developing advanced technical skills. This is more than an Apprenticeship — it’s a launchpad for a long‑term career with a global aerospace leader.
