Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Development Manager located in Weston-Super-Mare. To lead the company's business growth strategy by identifying, developing, and maintaining strong relationships with clients, developers, and key stakeholders across the Southwest. The BDM will drive revenue growth through securing new contracts, partnerships, and frameworks while promoting Evolution Developments' award-winning reputation for quality, innovation, and trust.
* Develop and execute a strategic business development plan to increase revenue and market share.
* Identify and secure new business opportunities in residential, commercial, and public sector markets.
* Prepare and deliver proposals, tenders, and presentations to clients and partners.
* Build and maintain relationships with housing associations, insurers, local authorities, and developers.
* Collaborate with the Operations Manager and MD to ensure feasible project delivery and profitability.
* Track and report on pipeline performance, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts.
* Represent the company at industry events, networking forums, and client meetings.
* Develop marketing and branding initiatives alongside the internal admin/marketing support team.
Qualifications
* Experience in business development, sales, and client relationship management
* Strategic planning, market research, and contract negotiation skills
* Strong communication, interpersonal, and networking abilities
* Proficiency in analysing market trends and leveraging insights for business growth
* Project management experience and the ability to collaborate across teams
* Familiarity with the construction and development industry is an advantage
* Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred
* Strong understanding of construction tendering, pricing, and contract structures.
* Commercially astute with strong analytical and strategic planning abilities.
* Proven track record in winning contracts and achieving sales targets.
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel throughout the Southwest.
