As they continue to expand, we are seeking a motivated and skilled 1st Line IT Technician to join a team with a clear pathway to progress into an IT career.

Job Overview:
The ideal candidate will be a proactive and technically adept individual with a passion for IT and a keen interest in IT. This role is perfect for someone looking to build a solid foundation in IT support while gaining exposure to and training in the field of Information Security, IT Support & Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide first and second-line support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues efficiently.
2. Manage and resolve incidents, service requests, and technical queries in a timely manner.
3. Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and peripherals.
4. Assist in the maintenance of IT documentation, asset management, and inventory tracking.
5. Collaborate with the IT team to ensure the smooth operation of IT infrastructure.
6. Gain exposure to Information Security practices, assisting with basic security tasks and initiatives under the guidance of the Information Security team.
Qualifications:
7. IT Qualifications, apprenticeship, internship experience
8. Strong troubleshooting skills and a understanding of IT fundamentals
9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with users at all levels.
10. Demonstrated interest in IT, with a willingness to learn and develop skills in this area.

11. Self-motivated and eager to learn.
12. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
13. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
14. Commitment to professional development and continuous learning.
Location: Cambridge, UK (must be commutable distance)
