Your new role (6 MONTH CONTRACT COULD BE EXTENDED)
1. Lead on financial control for the business to ensure the financial processes are robust and that the data posted to the Finance System is accurate and timely
2. Assist in thepletion of the statutory accounts and annual report in time for the annual audit, oversee the annual external audit provision of evidence
by others in the team
3. Maintaining banking facilities
4. Investigation and resolution ofplex historical Fixed Asset register discrepancies
5. Creation of new balance sheet reconciliations and determining reconciliation policies
6. Implementing debtor system reconciliations
7. Investigation and resolution of historical differences from accounting system migration
8. Liaise with auditors
What you'll need to succeed
9. Previous balance sheet reconciliations experience
10. Good excel skills (pivot tables and x look ups)
11. Fixed Asset register experience
12. Customer-focussed approach - building relationships with colleagues and external parties
13. A desire to automate and use systems to improve efficiency and accuracy
14. Ability tomunicate effectively to colleagues inside and outside of the Finance Team
15. An ability to manage time to meet deadlines
