Streamline Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for a Purchasing Assistant to join their growing team. In this role, you will play a key part in keeping procurement and stock processes running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Place and track purchase orders with suppliers, distributors, and manufacturers
2. Monitor stock levels and highlight replenishment needs
3. Manage incoming deliveries and ensure accurate recording
4. Investigate stock discrepancies, damaged goods, and returns
5. Maintain accurate product information, codes, and purchasing records
6. Source new suppliers and products as required
7. Process supplier invoices and support reconciliation
8. Compare supplier options to ensure value and quality
9. Communicate supplier delays or issues to internal teams
10. Support internal teams with pricing updates
11. Coordinate direct deliveries as needed
12. Build and maintain positive supplier relationships
About You:
13. Experience in purchasing, procurement, or stock control
14. Confident using Microsoft Office; Sage experience is a plus

15. Monday – Friday, 09:00 – 17:00
16. Salary: £25,000 – £27,000
