Senior Salesforce Administrator / Developer (Hands-On, Architecture-Minded)
Hourly | Long-Term | 20–40 hrs/week
We are a growing Salesforce consulting firm supporting multiple active client engagements across nonprofit, public sector, healthcare-adjacent, and B2B SaaS environments. We are looking for a seasoned Salesforce Admin/Developer who can execute at a high level and think architecturally.
Current Project Portfolio
You will support initiatives including:
Nonprofit Cloud (NPC) migrations from NPSP
Service Cloud rebuilds and ticketing system redesigns
Complex Flow automations (record-triggered, screen, scheduled)
CPQ & subscription lifecycle enhancements
Data model restructuring and governance frameworks
Email-to-Case cleanup and routing optimization
FormAssembly / external webform integrations
Financial system integrations (NetSuite / Sage Intacct / CPQ)
User profile & permission set restructuring
UAT coordination and deployment support
Projects range from 12-user nonprofit orgs to 90+ user multi-cloud environments.
Responsibilities
Build and maintain advanced Flows (record-triggered, scheduled, screen flows)
Troubleshoot and refactor legacy automations
Implement validation rules, formula fields, and data quality controls
Support integrations (REST APIs, middleware, Celigo, etc.)
Assist with CPQ enhancements and product-level logic
Support Nonprofit Cloud data architecture
Participate in UAT cycles and deployment planning
Produce clean documentation of build decisions
Identify technical debt and propose refactoring strategies
You must be comfortable working in partially messy orgs and improving them.
Required Experience
5+ years Salesforce experience
Strong experience with Service Cloud
Advanced experience with Flow (no Process Builder dependence)
Solid understanding of data modeling
Experience with permission sets & security architecture
Experience supporting UAT and sandbox deployments
Comfortable working across multiple client orgs
Excellent written communication
Strongly Preferred
Nonprofit Cloud (NPC) or NPSP experience
Salesforce CPQ experience
Integration experience (NetSuite, Sage Intacct, REST APIs)
Experience restructuring org governance
Experience cleaning up legacy automation
Salesforce certifications (Admin required, Platform App Builder or higher preferred)
Not a Fit If
