About the role
Reward Business Partner – fixed‑term contract (12‑18 months).
Location: Hybrid with 3 days at our Cannock Office. Hours: 40 hours per week. Salary: £Competitive plus car allowance, with enhanced pension.
What you'll be doing
As a Reward Business Partner, you will work across business lines providing expert guidance and support to our HR & Leadership teams on reward‑related matters, ensuring that the UK&I Reward Strategy translates throughout the business and robust plans are in place to drive change.
* Line manage a Reward Analyst.
* Deliver the Annual Reward Plan (company and business line).
* Partner with key stakeholders to align their pay & reward structures within their teams and create compelling business cases for change.
* Manage pay and benefits benchmarking and align this to the reward and pay philosophy.
* Deliver analysis to key stakeholders using pay and benefit models and influence outcomes.
* Drive behavioural and cultural change by embedding the reward principles of the Reward Strategy.
* Lead the annual pay and bonus cycle for each business line, ensuring it is completed effectively.
* Define the approach to pay and compensation within key operational areas experiencing shortages or retention issues (e.g., fleet, driver, operative, engineer pay frameworks).
* Provide assurance and guidance to Exco on all reward‑led activities for each business line.
Qualifications
* Proven experience of complex planning within a large matrix organisation.
* Knowledge and experience of reward tools and principles.
* Experience with WTW benchmarking and salary surveys.
* Understanding and experience in linking reward design to employee engagement.
* Experience managing multiple strategic and high‑profile initiatives.
* Track record of advising and influencing senior stakeholders in an operational environment on confidential and challenging issues.
