Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Children's Manager to oversee the care and management of our young people in our facility. This role requires a compassionate leader who is skilled in various aspects of child healthcare, including critical care, long-term care, complex care, mental health and challenging behaviour. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in team management, and experience working with children, particularly those with developmental disabilities.
Responsibilities
* Lead and manage a team of healthcare professionals in providing high-quality care to children who require support.
* Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including CQC and OFSTED.
* Oversee patient assessments, medical documentation, and care plans for children with diverse medical needs.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop treatment plans that address both physical and developmental health.
* Manage daily operations within the unit ensuring efficient workflow and optimal patient outcomes.
* Provide training and support to staff on best practices within our environment.
* Conduct regular evaluations of patient care services to improve quality and efficiency.
* Maintain accurate medical records and documentation.
Experience
Candidates should possess a robust background in various areas of healthcare. Preferred experience includes:
* Experience with a focus on pediatrics or family planning.
* Long-term care experience in assisted living, supported living, CAHMS.
* Experience working with children, especially those requiring specialised care such as behavioral health, LD, mental health, DOLS.
* Supervisory experience in nurse management or case management roles is highly desirable.
* LEVEL 5 Management is essential.

Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
