Key Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and serving of meals to students and staff. Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas. Wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment. Support with stock rotation and food storage in line with health and safety guidelines. Help set up and clear down the dining area before and after service. Follow food safety procedures and school policies at all times. Work collaboratively with the catering team to ensure smooth daily operations. Provide friendly and respectful service to pupils and staff. Essential Requirements: Previous school kitchen experience is essential. Experience working as a Kitchen Assistant or in a similar catering role. Basic knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Reliable, punctual, and committed to supporting the school community.
