Job Title: Quantity Surveyor – Civil Engineering

The Role:
As part of a major city-centre regeneration scheme in Sheffield, you’ll be a key member of the commercial team responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of complex infrastructure and civil engineering packages. This flagship project represents a significant transformation of the urban environment and offers an exciting opportunity to be involved from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage commercial aspects of subcontract packages from procurement to final account
*
Track budgets, provide accurate forecasting and financial reporting
*
Ensure compliance with contract terms (NEC and/or JCT)
*
Support the project management team with cost control and value engineering
*
Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders to manage project risks and opportunities
Requirements:
*
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or similar (or relevant experience)
*
Minimum 3 years’ experience in a civil engineering or infrastructure environment
*
Familiarity with NEC and/or JCT contracts
*
Excellent cost management and reporting skills
*
Strong communication and organisational abilities
