Blackburn, Monday to Friday (NO Weekends)
We are currently seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy and professional workshop environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop their career within the motor industry while working as part of a supportive and skilled team.
Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Workshop Manager to complete allocated jobs efficiently
* Liaise with the Service Advisor team regarding additional work or customer updates
* Attend training sessions (both on-site and off-site)
* Provide detailed updates on work progress
* Carry out vehicle health checks
* Ensure all work is completed in line with health and safety standards
* Use diagnostic equipment to assess and verify repairs
* Road test vehicles where required after work is completed
* Complete all relevant service documentation accurately (job cards, reports, worksheets)
* Record clear descriptions of faults identified and repairs carried out
Requirements
* Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Service and Repair (minimum)
* At least 3 years experience as a Vehicle Technician
* Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
* Full UK driving licence
* Professional, reliable, and presentable
