The Role
We are currently looking for a Service Supervisor to join our busy Warrington office. The successful candidate will work alongside the Service Manager, splitting time between office-based duties and field activities assisting the service and call‑out team.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage day‑to‑day coordination of Service Engineers and Field Technicians.
* Provide technical assistance and guidance to the Service team.
* Plan and optimise engineers’ routes using MS2 app to maximise productivity and reduce travel times and fuel costs.
* Ensure all planned visits are completed within each calendar month.
* Review and influence engineer productivity.
* Avoid call‑outs and address troublesome lifts, following up with clients and communicating proposals for resolution. Coordinate any required actions with engineers and field technicians.
* Manage isolated lifts to minimise downtime and achieve rapid resolution.
* Coordinate external and internal training requirements and mentor team progression.
* Conduct maintenance audits and ensure overall H&S compliance.
* Provide customer technical support as required, focusing on improvement and repair.
What We’re Looking For
* Demonstrable experience as a Service or Repairs Engineer, with a minimum NVQ3 qualification or equivalent experience.
* Background in Mechanical or Electronics engineering.
* Experience managing or coordinating a team is an advantage (training will be provided).
* Clean UK driving licence (essential).
* Right to work in the UK (mandatory).
