Overview
StaffCo Direct are recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for our client based in Skelmersdale. This is a trunking role only with no manual handballing required. Flexibility on working days and start times to suit your requirements. This is trunking with one delivery and one collection returning to a hub; guaranteed ongoing work after Christmas peak. Brand new vehicles.
Responsibilities
* Trunking only with no manual handballing required
Requirements
* Full UK driving licence with Class 1 entitlement (category C+E).
* At least 6 months of proven experience driving the relevant vehicle.
* Valid and in-date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.
* No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).
* Flexibility to work shifts across Monday to Sunday with start times from 12 pm - 9 pm (all paid at night rate).
In Return, HGV Drivers Will Receive
* PAYE Pay rates - £17.49 – 19.33 per hour inc Holiday Pay
* Minimum 8 hours daily guaranteed, average 11 hrs per day
* Option to lock into desired shift pattern following successful completion of driving assessment
* Access to pension
* Weekly pay
* Onsite canteen facility
* Onsite car parking
