Compensation: $38,000-$50,000 per year

We’re looking for a dynamic HR professional to serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers alike. In this role, you’ll guide staff through company policies, oversee onboarding, manage HR processes in Workday, and ensure compliance with employment laws. Responsibilities
* Serving as a point of contact for employees regarding HR-related inquiries.
* Providing guidance and support to managers and employees on company policies.
* Conduct orientation with new hires to provide resourceful information concerning benefits, payroll and ergonomics/safety
* Administration – Utilize Workday to process hires, job changes, terminations, time off approvals and additional administrative responsibilities.
* Ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
* Perform employee relations tasks including conducting quarterly focus group meetings and investigating and resolving employee complaints.
* Maintaining accurate and confidential employee records.
* Preparing and submitting reports on HR activity.
* Assisting with leave of absence and ADA inquires
* Provides timely written and verbal communication to management on various Human Resource issues
* Maintains good public relations
* Maintain concentration and focus to meet performance goals
* React positively to an ongoing, changing environment
* Demonstrate the ability to handle pressure when attempting to meet deadlines and performance goals
* Maintain good working relationships with assigned supervisors and coworkers
* Work safely without presenting a threat to self or others
* Perform additional duties as required by management
Qualifications
* High School Diploma or GED, Associates Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
* Minimum 2 years of HR experience is required. Prefer 3-5 years of experience.
* Must be able to type quickly and accurately, use a mouse effectively, and have a basic understanding of Windows-based operating systems.
* Ability to project and convey a positive, concerned, and professional image to applicants, trainees, and employees
* Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with management/supervising personnel, and subordinates
* Ability to read, analyze, and interpret professional journals, federal regulations, and training manuals
* Ability to respond to inquiries or concerns from trainees or other employees
* Demonstrated knowledge of employment law at federal and state levels
* Demonstrated ability to resolve conflicts and address employee/management concerns to achieve win-win results
* Ability to maintain a well-organized work area
* Write in a clear and concise manner
* Manage time effectively
* Solve problems or issues that may come up
* Concentrate and focus for extended periods of time
* Cope with high-stress and changing environment
* Adhere to policies and procedures
* Adhere to work schedule and punctuality requirements
