As part of their ongoing expansion, they're looking for a National Account Manager to help strengthen their position in the market.
The Role
As National Account Manager, you'll be responsible for managing and developing a portfolio of key accounts across the UK retail sector. Your core focus will be delivering profitable growth in line with the business' long-term strategy, with particular emphasis on increasing volume across key retail segments.
Responsibilities
Develop and maintain strong long-term relationships with key customers
Create Joint Business Plans that deliver agreed levels of profitable growth
Implement promotional plans aligned to brand values, customer strategy and operational capacity
Conduct post-promotion analysis to optimise investment and improve forecasting
Use internal sales data to track performance, identify trends and provide commentary to the Sales Director and wider business
Stay up to date with market developments and share insights with the commercial team
Ensure all customer and internal administration is accurate and completed on time
Work closely with Supply Chain to maintain agreed levels of customer availability
Support Finance in resolving any pricing issues within the account base
Manage annual budget planning and present account plans to the commercial team
Accurately forecast customer demand in line with the monthly sales and operations cycle
About You
Experience managing national accounts within the grocery and convenience sector
A clear understanding of the levers that drive growth (Product, Price, Place, Promotion)
Experience working within a branded FMCG environment
A proven ability to deliver profitable sales growth
Confidence using data and insights to support commercial proposals
