Your new role
As an Accounts Semi-Senior, you will be responsible for preparing accounts for a range of clients including sole traders, limited companies, and larger corporations. You will prepare VAT returns and use accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and IRIS. You will work alongside the rest of the accounts team to support the client base and will be required to effectively manage your own time.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will have previous experience handling accounts for a diverse range of clients in a practice environment. Strong IT and technical skills are essential, with experience in accounts software such as Xero, QuickBooks, and IRIS. Candidates should be AAT or part ACA qualified. Strong time management skills and the ability to manage your own workload effectively are also important qualities for this role.
What you'll get in return
In return, you will be offered a competitive salary between £26,000 and £32,000, depending on experience. The firm offers hybrid working options and a 1 pm finish on Fridays, with a 37.5-hour workweek.
