Are you a compassionate and dedicated Teaching Assistant with a passion for supporting children with SEN?
Teaching Personnel is working in partnership with a welcoming primary school in Sheffield to recruit a committed Teaching Assistant to provide 1:1 support for pupils with Special Educational Needs.
The Role:
* Provide tailored 1:1 support to a pupil with SEN, helping them access the curriculum and achieve their full potential
* Implement individual education plans (IEPs) and work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
* Support the pupil’s social, emotional, and behavioural development
* Use creative and engaging strategies to promote learning and independence
* Monitor progress and provide feedback to teaching staff and parents where appropriate
What We’re Looking For:
* Previous experience working with children with SEN (e.g. ASD, ADHD, SEMH, or speech and language needs)
* A patient, empathetic, and nurturing approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to build positive relationships and provide consistent support
* Relevant qualifications or training (e.g. CACHE Level 2/3, Team Teach, or similar) are desirable
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
