An opportunity has arisen for a Clerk of Works with experience in Highways Construction to join a client in Buckinghamshire. Your main duties include monitoring and checking highways works across the area, implementing multiple highway projects, scheme supervision and quality control.
This is a full-time contract position. The rate on offer is £40 - £45 per hour - negotiable for the right candidate. Flexible working arrangements are available.
Working within the Highways team your main duties include:
·Monitoring and checking the quality of highway works across the area
·Implementing multiple highway projects (surfacing, maintenance, section 278/38 works etc.)
·Ensuring the schemes are delivered within the given time scales, on budget and to the client's standards
·Overseeing the work carried out by the designated contractor on site
