Location: UK-Based | Remote with bi-monthly on-site (Face-to-Face)
AbraWorks is looking for a specialist FPGA Consultant for a high-priority, 3-month technical delivery. This is a clear, results-oriented Outside IR35 engagement focused on Altera Agilex development and SYCL design flows.
The Deliverables
* SYCL Golden Reference: Establish and document a formalised SYCL design flow using Altera Agilex Development Kits.
* FIM Development: Design and deliver 2x FPGA Interface Managers (FIM) for a SYCL derived Acceleration Functional unit (AFU)
* Low-Cost Designs: Design and deliver 2x low-cost FPGA implementations.
* Technical Docs: Full professional documentation for all delivered flows and designs.
Technical Stack
* FPGAs: Expertise with high-end Altera FPGA design (essential); Agilex (beneficial)
* Tools/Flows: Mastery of Quartus, VHDL; Altera SYCL / OpenCL (beneficial)
* Systems: Proficiency with Altera’s Hard Processor System (HPS) and tools.
* Protocols: Experience with MIPI CSI and Camera Link (and relevant IP) (advantageous).
Logistics & Requirements
* UK-Based: Only candidates residing in the UK will be considered.
* On-Site Collaboration: Must be able to meet face-to-face twice per month (potentially more at critical project milestones) at our office in Dunstable, Bedfordshire.
* Workstation: Contractor provides their own workstation; AbraWorks provides Agilex Dev Kits and Quartus licenses.
* Hardware Access: Remote access to target hardware is provided.
