Job Title: Procurement Specialist
Location: Camberley - Hybrid Working
Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time
Working within a fast-paced contract negotiation team, you will play a key role in managing procurement activities across various contracts. This position is integral to delivering a high level of service to clients while supporting retention and business growth.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Preparing and issuing tenders to suppliers within agreed deadlines
Negotiating pricing and contract terms with suppliers
Producing accurate cost comparisons and recommendations for clients
Managing both manual and electronic data to ensure accurate analysis
Issuing contract recommendations via email and following up with clients
Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers
Supporting ongoing contract management and resolving client queries
Collaborating with internal teams to support wider business objectives
What we are looking for:
Strong communication skills, with confidence in building relationships over the phone
Numerate with solid analytical and problem-solving ability
Good working knowledge of Excel
Organised with strong attention to detail
Experience within the energy/utilities sector is desirable but not essential
