This Plant Fitter role is working for a company in Portsmouth. The role is standard day shifts, Monday to Friday. The role is fully onsite. This Plant Fitter role is paying up to £38,000 depending on experience. There is an annual bonus scheme and plenty of overtime available.
This Plant Fitter role will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance on construction and heavy plant equipment. The role will involve carrying out routine servicing in line with manufacturer schedules, monitoring and topping up fluids, and performing preventative safety checks. You will also be required to identify, report and resolve faults promptly, fitting and replacing parts as required. The successful Plant Fitter will also need to clean, inspect and prepare machinery for redeployment or transfer. The role will involve working independently and collaboratively on larger repair projects, ensuring equipment is safe, operational and maintained to high standards.
You will need:
Previous experience with mechanical and plant equipment
Experience diagnosing faults and performing required maintenance
Full Valid UK Driving License
A relevant NVQ is desirable
The ability to obtain and pass Security Clearance
