Due to continued growth DXC Technology have a great opportunity for an experienced Senior Automation Engineer to join our team in either our Erskine or Newcastle sites in a Hybrid capacity.
Due to the nature of our business successful candidates are required to be British Nationals with SC clearance or eligible for vetting.
Job Description:
Automation of multiple post build tasks such as
1. Configure SLES and RHEL servers based on their environment and region.
2. Set up NFS mount points, update network settings like bonding and MTU, apply kernel tuning parameters, configure user limits and mail settings.
3. Check/Add users, Add SSH Keys, check disks and automate other post build tasks as required.
4. Filesystem creation on free disk, creating VG and LV, adding entries to fstab
Skills/Experience Required:
Several years of experience and strong knowledge of Ansible, Python
Linux server management/Administration
Configuration on SLES/RHEL systems
This role can be hybrid from either our Erskine or Newcastle site
