Heidelberg Materials UK is seeking a dynamic and commercially driven District Sales Manager to join our Concrete team on a maternity cover basis. This is a hybrid role based in the Somerset region, with a focus on Taunton and surrounding areas.
Your Mission
To achieve profitable sales of our concrete products while maintaining and growing strong customer relationships, ensuring Heidelberg Materials' market position is optimised.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
* Driving commercial activity and business development within your defined geographic area.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with our customer base to enhance market presence.
* Expanding the customer base through excellent service, sales expertise, and tailored solutions.
* Reporting and forecasting sales performance, and acting on market intelligence.
* Delivering on Heidelberg Materials' commercial and sustainability objectives.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in sales or account management, ideally within the construction or building materials sector.
* Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
* A proactive, customer-focused mindset.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a wider commercial team.
* Full UK driving licence.
