We have an exciting opportunity for Factory Operatives to join us at Vistry Works' new East Midlands Factory in Coalville, Leicester. We offer a competitive hourly rate ranging from GBP13.02 to GBP14.91, depending on experience and training. With structured development pathways, you'll have the chance to gain new skills, increase your earnings, and progress into supervisory roles. Vacancies are available for both morning (6am-2pm) and afternoon (2pm-10pm) shifts.
As a Factory operative, you'll be part of a skilled team in our Timber Frame Factory, producing engineered roof trusses for housebuilding, in line with production schedules. You will rotate across various workstations, gaining valuable experience in handling timber from delivery to finished product.

3. Experience in timber frame or carpentry is highly desirable
4. No formal qualifications necessary; a flexible approach and willingness to learn are essential
5. Experience in a production environment and working to deadlines is advantageous
6. Ability to work independently and follow instructions from supervisors
7. Comfortable working within a factory environment, preferably with timber frame experience
8. Competent with pneumatic tools, measuring tapes, and manual handling
9. Team player with attention to detail to ensure quality standards

* Working on a semi-automated manufacturing line, producing roof trusses, panels, and gable ladders
* Rotating across workstations to gain diverse skills, including cutting, pressing, manufacturing, and preparing products for transport
* Prioritizing health and safety and adhering to safety procedures
