Key responsibilities Candidate will be required to carry out tasks such as: Reconciliation and processing of purchase invoices to a bespoke accounting software Filing invoices Approving and releasing sales orders Credit control and contacting customers to request payments Answering customer queries via telephone and email Monthly bank and credit card statement reconciliations VAT and Intrastat submission Processing of weekly and monthly payroll Essential skills Candidate should have: 5 GCSEs A-C, including English and Maths Excellent and proficient organisational skills and time management Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Strong IT skills, including use of Microsoft Excel A working, practical knowledge of an accounting software and payroll software Excellent communication skills, both oral and written Friendly and approachable personality Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Previous experience within a similar role may be an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided.
