Role Description
This is a contract remote role for a Ladies and Mens Underwear Designer. The designer will be responsible for creating and developing innovative designs for both ladies and mens underwear collections. Daily tasks will include researching current trends, sketching new designs, selecting fabrics, creating detailed technical drawings, and collaborating with the production team to ensure designs are accurately produced to specifications.
We are looking for someone who is based in UK or Ireland.
We are looking for a creative and experienced Fashion Designer with strong knowledge of UK high-street fashion and the ability to develop modern, commercial, and well-balanced collections for retailers such as Primark, George, Tu, F&F, and similar brands.
Qualifications
* Previous experience designing underwear or lingerie is a must
Experience in apparel design and textile selection
* Knowledge of ladies and mens fashion trends and market preferences
* Proficiency in using design software such as Adobe Illustrator and CAD
* Strong skills in sketching, technical drawing, and creating design specifications
* Excellent communication and collaboration skills
* Ability to work independently and remotely, meeting deadlines and project goals
* Bachelors degree in Fashion Design or related field is a plus
