Rate: £33-34 per hour Standard – uplifts for the weekends/on-call
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 0900-1700, on-call at the weekends and 1700-0900
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Band 6 CT Radiographer to join our esteemed NHS client in the Shetland Islands. This role requires working in a dynamic and patient-focused environment, where you will be responsible for the needs of all patients attending the service. Your expertise in T will be crucial in ensuring accurate diagnosis and effective treatment for patients.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for conducting a wide range of CT scans, maintaining and calibrating CT equipment, and ensuring strict adherence to all relevant health and safety regulations. You will analyse and interpret complex scan results with a high degree of accuracy, maintain meticulous records and documentation, and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver superior patient care.
Qualifications and Experience
* HCPC registration.
* Extensive experience in CT radiography.
* The post holder will be an experienced and skilled Radiographer who will use their clinical knowledge and experience to inform the optimal delivery of the service.
* The post holder will be dynamic, innovative, forward-thinking, and will contribute to service development.
* Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Unwavering attention to detail and accuracy.
* Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
* PVG Certificate.
