The ideal candidate will have prior experience working in the community while leading a team in addition to demonstrated knowledge of consumer recovery, homelessness, homeless services systems, pathways to housing, dual diagnosis and evidence based practices. Responsibilities: Perform outreach and engagement activities to identify homeless individuals with mental health and co-occurring substance use needs that are living in public places, drop in centers, meal sites and shelters. Provide overall clinical supervision, guidance and oversight of service delivery of the team supporting developing interventions and supervision of team members. Provide direct supervision to all staff both in the office and in the field. Teach and model clinical interventions, strength based strategies and ensure services are culturally competent. Provide clinical services such as crisis intervention and counseling, as well as concrete services such as providing warm clothing, blankets, and food to reduce risk of harm on the streets. Maintain a thorough, current knowledge of local public and private resources including housing, residential programs, and other community organizations. Maintain positive working relationships with representatives of these organizations. Provide consultation and training on topics related to mental health and co-occurring disorders for shelter staff, community service providers and other community linkages as needed. Qualifications: Requires a clinical license: LCSW, LICSW, or LMHC At least two years of experience in the field, one of which must be supervisory. Demonstrated knowledge of consumer recovery, homelessness, homeless services systems, pathways to housing, dual diagnosis and evidence based practices. Must possess good leadership skills and the ability to provide clinical guidance and support to employees. Experience supporting relationships with persons with severe and persistent mental illnesses and respecting their preferences for treatment. Must have a valid Massachusetts drivers license to provide flexible community based services Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm Annual Salary $65,000 - $75,000 USD At Eliot, we are committed to supporting you at every stage of your career, providing opportunities for growth, purpose, and community.
