Liquid Personnel is seeking an experienced and compassionate Children's Social Worker to join our client in the North East of England. We are looking for a dedicated professional to become a part of a Fostering Team, with an initial focus on Kinship. This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of children and young people in care. By joining the team, you will help them thrive in their foster families through creative and meaningful interventions.
Key Responsibilities:
Conducting statutory visits every six weeks and ensuring timely and accurate case recordings.
Collaborating with teams to create pathways and stepping stones towards independence, prioritising a young person-centred approach.
Preventing placement breakdowns by providing targeted support to children in care and their foster carers or hosts.
Delivering consistent supervision, support, and reviews, including attendance and presentations at the Fostering/Supported Lodgings Panel.
Demonstrating exceptional organisational and communication skills to meet deadlines and produce thorough written reports.
