Key Responsibilities of the Geography Teacher: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality Geography lessons across Key Stages. Foster curiosity and critical thinking about physical and human geography. Support and lead extracurricular activities such as eco-clubs, field trips, and geography competitions. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support academic growth. Collaborate with colleagues to enrich the Geography curriculum and promote cross-curricular learning. Requirements for the Geography Teacher role: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification. Experience teaching Geography at the secondary level. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for global issues and environmental education. Excellent communication, classroom management, and organisational skills.
