Front End Developer, WEBRECRUIT
Our client works to improve outcomes for families by supporting welfare and learning. They are now looking for a Front End Developer to join them on a fixed‑term contract until 31 October 2026, with the possibility of extension. This role is offered with flexible working options, and they will consider candidates as part of a job share.
You must be based in the UK to apply for this role. The contract is for Wales (with hybrid working).

The Role
As a Front End Developer, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing our client’s web estate. You will create user‑centred digital products and tools that support national programmes, and design, build and iterate websites and services using a user‑led, data‑informed approach.
Working collaboratively with the Communications, Marketing and Digital teams, you’ll develop high‑quality code, integrate digital assets, and ensure products are responsive, performant and aligned with organisational identity and standards.
Additionally, you will:
* Test, review and resolve issues across all digital products
* Develop integrations with social media platforms to reach core audiences
* Provide expert guidance to colleagues
About You
* Experience as a Front End Developer
* Experience writing clean, well‑structured code in HTML, JavaScript and CSS
* Experience developing within a CMS such as Craft, Joomla, WordPress, etc.
* Experience testing websites and digital products for accessibility and functionality, and identifying and fixing bugs
* A broad understanding of web development programming languages
* A degree or relevant experience in multimedia, computer science, web development, etc.
