Chef – Indian Takeaway/Restaurant (Edgware)
Hours: 5:00pm – 11:00pm, 6 days per week (Mondays off)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Responsibilities
* Prepare and cook food following set recipes and quality standards
* Must be able to make naan and traditional Indian dishes
* Supervise and support kitchen staff
* Keep the kitchen clean and follow food safety rules
* Check food quality, presentation, and portion sizes
* Help plan menus and specials with management
* Manage stock and reduce food waste
* Train and guide junior kitchen staff
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Chef or Cook in a restaurant
* Skilled in Indian cooking and food preparation
* Good teamwork and leadership skills
* Able to work in a busy kitchen and handle multiple tasks
* Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
* Must have the legal right to work in the UK - sponsorship not available
* Reliable, hardworking, and flexible
