Job Role This varied role is a fantastic opportunity to work within a friendly and approachable team, working with highly experienced Secretaries, Solicitors, and Directors. Responsibilities of the role would include, but are not limited to: Assisting fee earners in a variety of contentious banking & finance matters, such as: delivery up and pursuing shortfalls from individuals and companies. Supporting the Banking & Finance Fee Earners, through drafting Court documents, such as: Bankruptcy and Winding Up petitions, and pleadings. Responding to new enquiries from potential clients by phone and emails. Working with experienced members of the team to continually develop expertise, progressing to handle cases with more complexity. Networking; in order to develop new and existing business relationships to grow the firm. Knowledge & Skills Previous Commercial Litigation experience required – Essential. IT Skills – Essential. Some knowledge and understanding of Guarantees and Indemnities and unregulated Hire Purchase Agreements – preferable. Local to Oxford area.
