Job Description:
You will lead and motivate your team to communicate with our customers, offering expert sales advice and support to ensure they receive the best deal that meets their needs, provides great value, and delivers an excellent shopping experience to foster their loyalty.
Upon successful application, your offer will be conditional upon providing your bank details before your start date.
You will be responsible for:
1. Listening to customers and acting on their feedback promptly, following up on complaints, and guiding your team to improve the shopping experience.
2. Delivering a positive shopping trip daily, ensuring your team works effectively according to Tesco's operating model.
3. Engaging your team to maintain product availability, collaborating with the Stock and Admin manager on RFID counts.
4. Encouraging passion for products, maintaining proper presentation, handling, and storage routines.
5. Creating a welcoming first impression, coaching your team on maintaining shelf standards for accessibility and appeal.
6. Leading a helpful and friendly service culture, demonstrating enthusiasm for customer service.
7. Controlling costs, minimizing waste, and meeting budgets.
8. Working with the business to grow sales through effective range and merchandising strategies.
9. Encouraging team participation in community initiatives.
You will need:
1. Training your team to confidently approach customers and sell the right products at the right price.
2. Working closely with your team, Area Manager, and management to uphold standards and achieve success.
3. Celebrating successes and treating everyone with respect, fostering a supportive environment.
