We’re looking for a commercially driven Business Development Manager to accelerate growth across our Utility Management division. Following continued growth across our energy and sustainability services, we’re investing further in our commercial team to support increasing market demand. This is a high-impact role for someone who knows the energy and utilities space, enjoys building relationships at senior level, and thrives on turning opportunities into long-term partnerships. Our solutions span: Utility Management Net Zero Reporting & Sustainability Energy Management, Data & Performance We work closely with clients to deliver measurable operational and financial outcomes - not just reports and recommendations. The opportunity This is a consultative sales role focused on winning new Utility Management clients across the UK. Reporting to the Head of New Business, you’ll take ownership of the full sales lifecycle - from identifying and developing opportunities through to negotiation, close and handover into delivery. You’ll have the autonomy to build relationships, shape opportunities and influence commercial growth, supported by a dedicated new business, business generation and marketing team You’ll engage with senior stakeholders across finance, procurement, sustainability and operations, helping organisations improve how they manage energy, cost and carbon. Requirements Proven B2B sales experience within energy, utilities, sustainability or related consultancy sectors Strong track record of securing new business and consistently delivering against targets Experience managing complex consultative sales cycles Strong understanding of utility management, energy procurement, cost management or sustainability drivers Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills Ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders confidently Commercially minded with strong proposal and solution development capability Highly driven, commercially focused and motivated by delivering results A genuine passion for sustainability and helping organisations transition towards net zero
