Essential job function: Ensure customer vehicles are installed to an excellent standard. Ensuring all installations are conducted to Thermo King and FRIGOBLOCK guidelines. Ensure all Installations are within OEM tolerances and VOSA guidelines. Become a trusted member of the team by working with minimal day to day supervision. Incorporate a flexible approach to working hours to meet customer needs/requirements. The ability to follow company health and safety guidelines whilst working at PSR and MFS sites and on various sites by adopting safe working practices and wearing the correct PPE. Ensure you operate the company vehicle in a safe manner and carry out regularly driver checks. Ensure when using company equipment and vehicles you carry out the necessary prior usage checks and use company equipment in a safe manner. If any issues/concerns have been identified to raise with Supervisor/Lead Engineers/Co-Ordinators To be of smart & professional appearance especially when customer facing. Have flexibility to be able to work away from home, change in shift patterns and work weekends when needed. Being mindful of ISO9002 standards at all times and health and safety considerations and requirements. Work on bespoke jobs. Any instructions given by installation manager, coordinator/s & supervisor/s. To work at various locations if business needs dictate. Have the ability to work alone or as part of a team. Qualifications: Education: GCSE’s in Mathematics and English, F-Gas 2079 desirable, but not essential, ideally mechanical, engineering or electromechanical degree. Installation experience of working in a mechanical, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing and heating sector etc. Refrigeration experience is a plus. Willingness to learn, positive attitude and keen interest within the refrigeration sector would be considered. The ability to work with minimal day to day supervision. Excellent oral and written communication skills. ADDITIONAL LOCAL NEEDS Full UK driving license for 3.5 tonne van (essential) Holds an HGV Licence desirable, but not essential. Forklift truck Licence desirable, but not essential. Ability to work at various locations if business needs dictate. Ability to undertakes tasks that may require time working away from home.
