Facilities Coordinator
Contract: Permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday)
Base Location: Beacon Park Village, Lichfield (WS13 6JZ)

We are seeking a Facilities Coordinator to support our retirement community of 135 apartments. The role focuses on safe maintenance, contractor coordination, and building strong relationships with residents.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Carrying out day-to-day repairs and regular maintenance checks
* Conducting temperature checks, fire alarm testing, and legionella monitoring
* Building strong relationships with customers – being approachable, friendly and reliable
* Managing contractor visits for reactive, cyclical and planned maintenance
* Ensuring the health, safety and security of the building
* Prioritising and multi‑tasking workload effectively
This role is subject to an enhanced DBS check. If appointed, the job title will be Facilities Coordinator.
What You’ll Bring
* General handyperson experience in a customer‑facing role
* Experience in basic property maintenance and repair assessment
* Plumbing skills, knowledge or experience (advantageous)
* Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills
* Proactive, positive, can‑do attitude and a consistent, engaged team player
* Ability to prioritise and organise workload effectively
* Excellent IT skills, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic
