The Role
Reporting to the Head of Finance, this position will focus on managing the monthly payroll process while contributing to the wider finance function.
You'll be responsible for end-to-end payroll, alongside supporting purchase ledger and general finance tasks.
Key Responsibilities
End-to-end monthly payroll (PAYE, pensions, statutory payments)
Processing starters, leavers, salary changes, overtime and expenses
Managing payroll queries and maintaining accurate records
Posting payroll journals and supporting reporting
Processing supplier invoices and payments
Reconciling supplier accounts and managing aged creditors
Processing staff expenses and company card transactions
Reconciling income streams and posting journals
Supporting general finance activities
Identifying and implementing process improvementsWhat We're Looking For
Strong end-to-end payroll experience
Experience across purchase ledger
Comfortable posting journals
Good Excel skills
Able to work independently and as part of a small team
