Job Description
Asset Manager & Senior Asset Management Roles
London & South West
An exceptional opportunity has arisen to join one of the UK’s most historic and values-led property estates.
Following a recent strategic restructure, they are now looking for a Senior Asset Manager to work closely with the Property Director to oversee a substantial and highly diverse mixed sector portfolio. This Senior Asset Manager role is a pivotal hire within their growth plans for 2026. They are also looking for an Asset Manager to work in the South West, where they also have an office.
These are unique opportunities within a high-profile, long-term portfolio offering breadth, responsibility and genuine scope to shape strategy at the senior level.
The Roles
Senior Asset Manager – London
Working closely with the Property Director, the Senior Asset Manager will play a leading role in overseeing a substantial mixed-sector portfolio, with particular focus on London assets.
This is a strategic, high-impact hire with responsibility for:
* Driving income and long-term capital performance
* Identifying value-add opportunities across existing leases
* Delivering asset plans and board-level reporting
* Overseeing refurbishment and repositioning projects
* Enhancing compliance and operational performance
* Managing external advisors and property managers
* Supporting placemaking and community-focused initiatives
* London asset management experience is highly desirable at this level, alongside strong commercial judgement and leadership capability.
Asset Manager – South West (Bath preferred)
The Asset Manager will likely focus on the South West patch (including Bath and Bristol), working across a varied commercial and residential portfolio.
This role requires:
* Creativity in reviewing and restructuring leases
* Driving performance across retail, office and mixed-use assets
* Managing refurbishment projects and operational improvements
* Strong oversight of managing agents and compliance
* The ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously
* Bath is the preferred base to encourage collaboration and mentorship within the core property team, although flexibility may be considered. There is significant travel across the estate.
What We’re Looking For
For both roles:
* MRICS qualified
* Strong commercial asset management experience
* Exposure to both commercial and residential assets (or willingness to engage with both)
* Solid grounding in Landlord & Tenant matters and property management fundamentals
* Experience delivering asset plans, business plans and performance reporting
* Experience managing refurbishments or repositioning initiatives
* Strong grasp of compliance, risk management and operational oversight
* Advisory-side candidates looking to move client-side will be considered, particularly those with strong L&T and Property Management exposure.
* Leasing is less transactional in nature — the tenant base is relatively stable — so strategic asset thinking and value enhancement are more important than pure agency-style deal flow.
Culture & Values
This organisation operates with a genuinely long-term outlook and a clear sense of purpose.
Commercial performance is essential, but so too is environmental responsibility, social impact and community enhancement. Sustainability and placemaking are central to decision-making.
These roles would suit individuals who thrive in a fast-moving, high-profile environment where “plate-spinning” is essential — and who want their work to contribute to something broader than financial return alone.
