How you'll make a difference
As a Personal Assistant (PA) you will ensure a fully comprehensive and confidential service.
Working under the personal direction of the Service Director of our People Department, you will report directly to the Executive Director’s PA and have regular contact and support as one of a group of PAs in the department.
What you will be doing
* Daily, you will manage diaries, make appointments and arrange meetings.
* It will be your responsibility to attend meetings to take notes, log actions and ensure appropriate follow up.
* Occasionally, you will carry out research, collate data and present information within your area of service specialism.
* Where necessary, you will provide cover for other PA colleagues in the department.
What we need from you
* We require you to hold an NVQ level 3 in administration or an equivalent qualification and a minimum of 50 wpm typing.
* Having previous experience with supporting a senior manager, you will have skills in organisation and administration across a range of disciplines.
* You must be flexible and resilient with good attention to detail, and the ability to work on your own initiative to tight deadlines and multiple priorities.
* You will have IT knowledge and its practical application, including Microsoft Office.
What you need to know
* This is a part-time role, working 22.2 hours per week. Your salary will be pro-rated to hours worked.
* This role is hybrid, with a mixture of working at our office in Yate and working from home.
