Overview
We are currently looking to appoint a suitably qualified Consultant in Community Paediatrics. The successful applicant will be based in Raigmore Hospital doing clinics in Inverness, in addition to a remit of peripheral clinics on the Isle of Skye.
Location and Hours
NHS Highlands, Raigmore Hospital, Inverness. Hours i.e. 10Pas/40 hours per week. Part-time applications will be considered.
Salary
£111,430 - £148,064 per annum pro rata

We are currently looking to appoint a suitably qualified Consultant in Community Paediatrics.
The Highlands offer opportunities for outdoor pursuits and a high quality of life. The community paediatric team currently consists of 6 community paediatric consultants (4.4 WTE), 6 Associate specialists and ADHD specialist nursing team, with close working relationships to CAMHS and allied health professionals. CAMHS, acute paediatrics and community paediatric outpatients and offices are co-located at The Birnie Centre/Morven House within Raigmore Hospital campus. The team has established multidisciplinary working relationships with multiple teams including specialist nursing teams and visiting specialist consultants from main health boards in Scotland. An in-house administrative team is in place.
Responsibilities and Expectations
* Based at Raigmore Hospital with clinics in Inverness and peripheral clinics on the Isle of Skye.
* Collaborate with CAMHS and allied health professionals in a multidisciplinary setting.
* Support delivery of paediatric services within the Highlands region.
Qualifications
* Medical qualification suitable for Consultant in Community Paediatrics (as required by NHS Scotland).
* Experienced in community paediatrics and multidisciplinary team working.
