Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Logistics & Operations Administrator to support the day-to-day running of a growing haulage business. This is a key role with the opportunity to shape processes and contribute to the company’s development as it scales.

Key Responsibilities

* Answering phone calls and handling general enquiries
* Managing and tracking invoices
* Receiving PODs (Proof of Delivery) from drivers and distributing to customers
* Coordinating with subcontractors
* Booking loads and collections
* Managing client requests and maintaining strong relationships
* Providing general administrative and operational support

Skills & Experience

Essential:

* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Basic proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
* Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Desirable:

* Previous experience in the haulage/logistics industry
* Familiarity with transport or logistics systems
* Experience improving or setting up operational processes

* The successful candidate will play a key part in preparing the company for expansion and larger contracts

Initially remote/home-based.

The role is expected to transition to a dedicated office environment once premises are secured.

Working Hours

* 20 hours per week (initially)
* Opportunity to increase hours as the business grows and new contracts are secured

Working Schedule

* Monday to Friday
* Preference for morning hours (exact schedule to be agreed with the successful candidate)

Salary

* Open to discussion depending on experience
* Particularly competitive for candidates with haulage/logistics experience
