Science Teacher (part-time) – Swindon
Elementa Support Services are working in partnership with a respected Academy in Swindon, seeking an experienced Chemistry Teacher to join their dedicated team on a contract basis. This is a full-time role commencing on 2nd February 2026, with ongoing opportunities to support the school's continued commitment to excellence in science education.
About the Role
The position is based within a well-established secondary academy, accommodating between 66-250 staff members. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective Chemistry lessons to students across Key Stages, creating a positive learning environment that fosters curiosity and scientific understanding.
This contract role is scheduled to start on 02/02/2026 and will continue until further notice, offering a supportive environment for a committed professional to contribute long-term to the school's success.
Candidate Profile
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Qualified Teacher Learning and Skills (QTLS)
Strong background in Chemistry, with the ability to inspire and motivate students
Experience working in a secondary school setting is preferred but not essential, provided you are confident to deliver engaging science lessons
Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

This role offers a daily rate in the region of £120 to £200, dependant on experience and qualifications, reflecting the calibre of professional our client seeks to attract.
