About the role
We're seeking a Senior Researcher to deliver both tactical and strategic research across multiple squads and products, using a robust mix of qualitative and quantitative methods. You'll help set and maintain high research standards, ensuring insights translate into meaningful actions that influence product direction, client outcomes, and organisational success.
In this role, you'll embed research at the heart of decision-making-driving cross-functional collaboration, managing senior stakeholders, and demonstrating research as a critical lever for transformation and growth.
You'll also play a key role in strengthening the research practice by championing knowledge sharing, governance, and best practice. As a mentor to peers and junior researchers, you'll contribute to the growth of the wider team and help foster a positive, high-performing culture grounded in curiosity, collaboration, and impact.

What you'll be doing
Designing, conducting, and delivering end-to-end complex mixed-methods research - exploratory, generative, evaluative - tailoring methods to fit the problem space
Delivering the overarching UX research strategy, ensuring alignment with business objectives and create best-in-class experiences
Scoping and prioritising research activities in line with product and business timelines
Quantitative analysis, leveraging tools like surveys, A/B testing, and behavioural analytics to uncover trends, understand and interpret data to measure usability, and validate hypotheses
Qualitative exploration through interviews, usability testing, field studies, diary studies, and workshops to uncover user motivations, pain points, and needs
Partnering with Product Managers, Designers, and Analysts to synthesise findings and build understanding of the client
Influencing through storytelling, workshops, and visual frameworks, creating actionable insights that shape strategy and inform direction
Setting the bar for research standards across the team and embedding best practices
Contributing to the development of research playbooks, templates, and training
Mentoring junior researchers and contribute to team capability development
About you
Demonstrable UX research experience with a strong portfolio of impactful research work across industries, products, or platforms
Proven expertise in both quantitative (e.g., survey design, statistical analysis, large-scale data interpretation) and qualitative (e.g., ethnography, usability testing, contextual inquiry) research.
Experience collaborating with and influencing C-suite or senior leadership
Experience working in agile, cross-functional teams with product and design stakeholders
Strong storytelling and presentation skills; ability to distill complex findings into actionable insights
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Familiar with tools such as Figma, Dovetail, UserTesting, Optimal Workshop, Maze, Lookback, Qualtrics, Tableau, or similar
Knowledge of accessibility, inclusive design, and global research practices
Interview process
The interview process for this role will include two stages with a task.
Working Schedule
This role is based in our Bristol head office (BS1 5HL) and we offer a hybrid working pattern, with a minimum of two days in the office per week.
