We are delighted to be working with an established, reputable and growing business who are recruiting for a Management Accountant based at their head office in Warwick.
The Management Accountant will provide support to the finance and administration function and will be responsible for the preparation of reliable, accurate and timely financial information.
This role is office based Monday – Thursday (09.00-5pm)
Reporting into the Head of Finance, responsibilities will include: -
* Preparation of monthly management accounts (including, preparation of month end journals; preparation of monthly P&L, Balance Sheet, and cash flow statements; and monthly balance sheet reconciliations).
* Preparing periodic financial statements, including departmental analysis, forecasts, budgets, cash analysis, variance analysis and commentaries.
* Regular bespoke client reporting.
* Maintenance of accounting processes and procedures.
* Cash flow management and forecasting.
* Fixed Asset maintenance and reporting.
* Supporting with the review and sign off of payroll.
* Implementation and improvement of strong internal controls.
* Acting as a conduit for both internal and external audits.
* Interpreting and communicating financial data to non-financial managers.
* Supporting the Head of Finance in the management and development of the finance team
Our client is ideally looking for the following skills and experience :
* Qualification in ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
* Proven experience as a Management Accountant.
* High attention to detail & ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
* Strong analytical skills, ability to identify & solve ambiguous problems.
* High level of energy & commitment.
* Able to work to tight deadlines.
* Flexible and able to quickly adapt to change.
